FEDERATION
- No login! – Give users the bookmark to the LIO portal and they will land directly into the portal if they are currently logged into Office 365
- Easy to maintain – Just add a user to an active directory group and they will have access
- Easy to revoke access – As soon as their Active Directory account is suspended, they lose access to the broker portal
SELF-SERVICE
- Relies on users to correctly register and manage their own password and multi-factor token
- When a user leaves the agency, the agency must notify LIO to remove access or wait a week for token to expire
- Users must use multi-factor built into okta to login
While LIO supports self-service registration, our preference would be to federate with your Office 365. To get started, connect with LIO IT. The only requirement is Office 365 admin access.
